Hardly likely, we heard the same whining after every major update from the same posters and they're still here and still playing GW (despite their grandiose protestations they'd quite) and still whining at every 'nerf'.
Excuse me if I cant take the 0.01% of players that cant farm without cookie cutter builds too serious.

Leave, stay, to be honest I doubt anyone cares, others will take your place. Thats been true from day 1 of Guild Wars and it will be true to the last day of Guild Wars.
For every farmer who raqe quits buying Nightfall there are 5 new players who are excited about it *shrug*..yeah, I said rage quit because thats what it sounds like, whiney prepubescent teenagers who dont get what they want and throw a tantrum.

In 2 weeks they'll all be back farming with a slight change in skills once someone posts a good new build.

I have heard people saying "oh, noes!! I can't duo the UW!!" and "AoE nerf has ruined all farming! I'm leaving GW forever!!"

What a narrow minded view, why not try some of the new stuff that was implemented?

You know what is funny? I went to the UW, solo, and did just fine using a build that is old as the hills, go figure...

Now go and try a duo run, and don't forget to return and tell us what an utter disaster it was.

I am not interested in farming solo in the least, but I did enjoy dual runs, for sheer entertainment, with my SO. Other areas and other techniques fail to deliver as much enjoyment as this small run did. I feel robbed.

This was suppose to be but it didn't end up being that way the same was suppose to be said is the PvPers were suppose to play through PvE and get thier unlocks. These are skills, runes and weapons mods but it didn't end up that way.The PvP player base is relatively small compared to PvE and who is supprting who here. There is really no reason to PvE at all if you want to look at it as to rewards you in the end.I sure hope the Anet and NCsoft have plan to make this game last for as long as some other RPs or it will die.I certianly hope they have a plan to reward players with monies to get the items they would like eg Fow armour etc. They can get rid of thier gold sinks well they are at it.

They seemed more concerned with dealing as much damage as they could than their own preservation. This meant that they could sacrifice themselves to kill a player or two. Now, they act more how real people would act. They freak out some when they are losing and try to get in last second heals to save themselves. From what I've seen, this lowers their ability to do damage and I've found clearing out areas with henchies to be a fair amount easier than it used to be.
Lol! I love the people who are "casual gamers" who think the new changes make the monster AI "so intelligent". Please - I'm sure as "casual gamers" you probably rarely PvP because just like you hate farmers - you probably hate 1337 GvG guilds and the inability to find a good group in HA because you're not rank 3+/6+/9+. So, until you actually PvP (and I don't mean random arenas). Don't assume that the intelligence of the monsters is any better - because it is not. I am upset by the change also because it doesn't deliver the way it should have been - more intelligence - not a bunch of mobs attacking the warriors - who does that in PvP anyways?

I suppose there is an unlimited line of people just waiting to buy Guild Wars. If that was the case - they wouldn't create new content. And for that matter, I might as well create my own crappy MMORPG because obviously it doesn't matter what people think - there is always a line of people waiting to support ANets cashflow.

Grow up. There are reasons why business file for bankruptcy - and sometimes it can be tied to alienating a huge population of buyers. And that, my friend, are the hardcore gamers - the ones that are pissed off about the change. Look around - those that are upset are by far the majority.

Wow, I can't wait to do the same cookie cutter quests again.... and again... and again. Its just as repetitive as farming - only much less profitable and rewarding. Fact is, without farming, the end game for a lot of people sucks - and that is why they are leaving and will not buy future products. Its not like MMORPG's haven't gone out of business for the same thing in the past.

kinda funny Tijger did you ever use the 105/55 build. as far as it being a cutter cutter build ill let you in on a secret. i was one of the first to have that build, 3 day off the shelf. whos using whos cookie cutter build.

now when did i ever say i was quitting, please find my qoute on that, better yet, plzz find a quote on when i cared for anything else but the fun for the new players.

yes in 2 weeks most of the left over veterans most likely will be doing just that. i wil be one of them. and i alrdy have my build. and guess what. it hasnr changed from day 1 i created it. now what do you suppose will happen to all those new players who dont like it. ill guarentee its alot more than you would believe. and well if they all quite saying about 30% of the games player base. i can also guarentee you that Anet will care and so will every one shortly afterwards. and well if you dont care you yourself are sounde like the very thing you are claiming to say the whiners themselfs are. i find most adults actually care more about others than themselfs.

[skill]Vengeful Was Khanhei[/skill]

The AI isn't 'crippled' its VASTLY improved.
The VWK build wasnt nerfed, and in the skill balancing, ritualists werent even mentioned, meaning theri builds are still intact as much as the AI lets them. just because the AI lets your build farm doesnt mean its improved. frankly, PvE should have stupid enemies-theyre freakin mobs. if they wanted to stock PvE with intelligent opponents, maybe they should just make it a few wandering bosses that are level 40 and really smart. the fact that theyre mobs should clearly illustrate what side of the quality/quanity divide their AI should be
